DESIGN
group NINE was
founded in April 1981, by nine employees
of a large London based Housing Association.
Current directors, Julian Crompton,
David Jones and Joseph Rogic are founder
members. Peter Stirzaker joined Design
Group Nine in 1985.
All directors have had previous working
experience with Housing Associations,
prior to joining DESIGN
group NINE and the
Practice has continued in maintaining
close working relationships with
Housing Associations throughout
London and the South East.
The Practice has also built up a strong
reputation for it's ability to
handle projects of varying sizes,
and has demonstrated the directors
commitment to smaller repair projects,
as well as large new build and refurbishment
commissions.
An increasingly important part of
the work being carried out by this
Practice is Design and Build
form of contract, with many new build
and refurbishment schemes now successfully
completed. Although residential
schemes represent the main stay
of our work, we have also undertaken
projects for educational establishments,
health service providers, hotels and
hostels and the leisure
industry.
