The Site:
This site is located on the outskirts
of Stokenchurch in Buckinghamshire,
quite close to M40 motorway. The site
was brown-field site and formed part
of a school adjoining it.
General Information:
Ealing Family Housing Association acquired
the site from the local authority in
1991 and DGN were approached to produce
a scheme comprising a mixture of single-family
dwellings (SFDs) and flats to comply
with the Association's brief.
Following a lengthy discussion with
the local planning authority the resulting
scheme of a total number of 32 units
comprising, 4 x 1 bedroom flats, 12
x 2 bedroom SFDs and 14 x 3 bedroom
SFDs., received planning approval.
The total project value was £1.6
million.
